About us

The story

It started in 2010 when we agreed to see what we could achieve, after a few months we had the brand name Huva in place. An acquaintance named Torstein Søreide Skogedal, studied design. He created the logo for the hood as part of his studies.

Hilde Berg, who is a magician with knitting needles, knits all samples and new ideas. Hilde was born in Røros, which has been an important place in her childhood as well as her adult life.

The first product that was finished in 2014 is Huva 800, which is one of the brand's warmest wool sweaters, if not the warmest. We are very happy with the result and the feedback is absolutely fantastic. We want to position this product as a workhorse, one that can be trusted when the cold is at its harshest and one that is truly durable.

huva tova wool mittens

In 2018 we launched Huva tova mittens, which are currently produced in Stjørdal and to be honest I don't think there are many products in the sports industry that can boast "Made in Stjørdal". We are looking for a factory to produce this product, but as of today we have not found one. So all the mittens that we produce now are circular knitted with needles, which provides a seamless production and fantastic quality.
