EDELRID Slovakia s.r.o. has been part of the EDELRID Group since October 1, 2023.

The technological and personnel part of ŽILMONT s.r.o., which since 1990 has been producing ropes and textiles for recreational climbing and mountaineering as well as for industrial climbing, became the basis of EDELRID Slovakia.

EDELRID Slovakia sells dynamic and static ropes, slings, and accessory cords for personal protective equipment (PPE) under its own brand name Gilmonte. All development and production activities take place in the city of Žilina in northern Slovakia.

The German company EDELRID GmbH & Co. KG, established in 1863, developed into a leading production company for ropes, climbing equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).

With the transition to the EDELRID Group we hope to create a strong partnership in international markets.
